Spicy Sweet Potato Fries

Sweet Potato FriesSweet potatoes had never been one of my favorite foods — until now — this recipe is awesome. I have a new found fondness for those tasty orange taters.

Makes: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 2-inch wedges
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Place potato wedges in a bowl and add oil; toss to coat.
  3. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
  4. Sprinkle spice mixture over potatoes and toss to coat.
  5. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes or until potatoes are soft.
